Featured KJ!

Todd Beeman with Cross Entertainment

New singers welcome! I've been hosting karaoke locally for 10+ years, but there's always new people to meet who have been looking for a venue/KJ that fits what they want best. Currently, I host 5 karaoke shows every week at 3 different bars.. and each show/bar is quite different from the others.

Tuesday nights, I host karaoke at Fuzion from 8pm to midnight. Tuesday's are not only their karaoke nights, but also ONE DOLLAR Taco nights! Delicious food, $2 margaritas to wash it down, and a giant stage flooded with tons of LED lighting, inside a bar filled with 6 15" mains, 4 subwoofers, a powered 12" monitor speaker, flat screen monitors for the karaoke words & music videos.. and with 4 nice wireless microphones for the singers! Fuzion is LGBTQ friendly. My playlist there is a large variety, consisting of everything from Genesis, Huey Lewis, George Michael.. all the way to Brantley Gilbert, Bruno Mars, and even oldies like Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye! And of course, if you want to request a song just to listen to, don't hesitate to let me know.. I'll play whatever, as long as I've got it in my library.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights, you'll find me at Stepchild Lounge hosting karaoke from 9pm until bar close. Stepchild's is the hole-in-the-wall bar that tons of people know about. Cross Entertainment, the karaoke company I work for, has been supplying the karaoke at Stepchild Lounge for the past 9-10yrs. Their drinks are STRONG and usually some of the cheapest you'll find. With a very friendly family-like staff, most people come to Step's to unwind from their busy lives, and party like every night is the weekend! As far as my playlists goes, it usually depends on the night and what the crowd is talking about hearing. Most songs I play there are newer, like the Weeknd, Macklemore, Sheeran, M. Trainor.. but don't be surprised to hear some 90's old school like Tupac, Run DMC, and Color Me Badd. I'll even throw some country in the mix here and there.. most of the time it's older, like Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn.. Again, I have no problem playing whatever requests people want.

Finally, there's my Friday night show. TONIGHT, I'll be at T-Bairz Sports Bar & Grill from 8:30pm-12:30am. Another great place for singers, T-Bairz has a large stage.. and I've set up a whole bunch of LED lighting and a big powered sound system! They've got incredible food (T-Bairz is owned by the owner of all the local Bair's Sports Bars), great specials on beer, cocktails, and even shots. My Friday night karaoke crowd normally prefers mostly older country and more easy-listening songs. The playlist has a good variety, from Stevie Wonder to Joe Cocker, but it's not as high-energy of a karaoke show like my others.

Well, hopefully you'll have a better idea of which one of my shows you'd enjoy most. Call up your friends and write me in your schedule for sometime soon!? I look forward to continuing to watch my shows grow, meeting more of the 417 karaoke junkies, and putting happiness in the lives of everyone I see in the evenings! -DJ Todd #crossentertainment
